This website is operated by Melissa Keating Skin. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Melissa Keating Skin. Melissa Keating Skin offers this website, including all information, tools and Services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/or clinic and/ or purchasing something from us, products or treatments, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site and in clinic, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, clients, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website and booking an appointment in clinic. By accessing or using any part of the site or clinic, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any Services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.
Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service, without notice, by posting updates and/or changes to our Terms of Service on our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and Services to you.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any person whom we deem to have inappropriate behaviour or actions that may impact or compromise the safety and/or cause discomfort to any of our clients or staff.

Cancellations & Reschedules
We understand that things can come up and you may need to adjust your appointment occasionally. We ask that you give us as much notice as possible and be considerate of the impact that last minute cancellations or no shows/missed appointments has on our business but also other clients as well.

Arrival to your appointment / Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time to your appointment. As we are a home-based skin clinic, we do not have a reception or waiting area so we ask that you arrive on time and not early to your appointment.
We ask that you please arrive on time and not late to your appointment as well. If you arrive late to your appointment, we may need to reduce the time of your appointment to fit in with what time is left of your allocated appointment time but the treatment will remain at the full treatment price of your original booking. Please contact us if you are going to be late.
Health & Illness
If you are unwell or sick for any reason, please make sure you contact us as soon as you can to reschedule your appointment. We will not be able to see you if you are unwell.
This is to protect our team and other clients as much as we can from getting sick. We are here to support skin health but a part of that is supporting our overall health as well. So, we make it a top priority to make sure we help everyone to stay as healthy as possible.
Plus, it is never an enjoyable experience having a skin consult or facial while you’re un well.
Children & Other Guests
As much as we completely understand it can be difficult to attend appointments when you have a baby or kids, unfortunately we do require you to attend appointments on your own and without children. This is due to the fact we just don’t have enough room in the clinic and it is not a child friendly space, as it is a skin clinic. We are also unable to watch your baby or children as we are here to do your skin treatment.
We also ask that you attend your appointments on your own, so without a partner, friend, etc, as we don’t have a waiting room or reception area and our treatment room is not able to accommodate extra people.
Please note: If the appointment is for someone under 18 years, we do require a parent/guardian to accompany them and be in the room for their Initial Consultation.
Personal Belongings
We are not responsible for the loss or damage of any personal belongings whilst you are at Melissa Keating Skin.
Parking
We are a home-based business and parking is easy and free! You are more than welcome to park in the drive way for your convenience. We just ask that you please don’t park on the grass.
Orders
Once orders are submitted, you cannot cancel or amend the order.
All orders are subject to our acceptance and we reserve the right to accept or decline an order, at our discretion.
Prices
All prices are in Australian dollars and do not include delivery charges. Delivery charges are additional.
All prices are subject to change without warning or notice.
Special Offers / Promotions
At times, we may have a special offer or promotion in relation to our treatments or products, either in clinic and/or online. We reserve the right to terminate any offer or promotion without notice or warning prior.
Payment Policy

We accept Cash, Eftpos, Visa and Mastercard.

We unfortunately do not accept Bank Cheques, American Express or Afterpay.

All treatments and products need to be paid at the time of the appointment. We do not hold any personal client accounts or allow payment deferrals.

All product orders need to be paid for, in full, before they are posted to you or at time of pickup.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers cannot be returned or exchanged for cash. And they are treated like cash, if lost or stolen they cannot be replaced.
If the total value of the gift voucher is not used in one transaction, there will be no change given. The remainder of the value left will be kept on your gift voucher for you to use at another time, but the expiry date stays the same expiry date based on the original date of purchase.
Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years (36 months) from date of purchase, unless they are for a promotion/special offer treatment or value and the expiry will be reflective of the promotional expiration date, which will be written on the voucher.
Gift vouchers cannot be used after they have expired and there will not be any extensions. We ask that you plan ahead and make sure you are aware of the expiration date and make sure you allow enough time to use the voucher before the expiration date.
SECTION 1 - ONLINE STORE TERMS
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.

Certain products or Services may be available exclusively online through the website, or exclusively in clinic. These products or Services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy. To view our Return Policy, please click here.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any colour will be accurate.
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or Services that we offer. All descriptions of products and services or product and service pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.
We do not warrant that the quality of any products, Services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.
