We start all new clients with an Initial Consultation. It is at this appointment that we are able to assess your skin and come up with a skincare and treatment plan. After that, each facial is also then customised to suit what your skin needs on the day of the appointment.

This is why you won’t see any generalised facial options like, Hydrating Facial or Anti-Ageing Facial or Acne Facial, on our treatment menu. All you need to do is choose the facial that suits your time availability! 

But don’t panic, this will all be discussed at your Initial Consultation. And we will guide you on which facial option will be best as the amount of time we have does impact what we can do.

We are here to not just support your skin on this skin journey but to help and support you as well, making it as easy as possible.

Initial Skin Consultation & Personalised Facial - (75 mins - $199)

Whether you’re wanting to keep your skin healthy or want to address certain concerns, this is what I am here to help you with.

This 75 minute appointment combines an in-depth consultation with a treatment tailored to your skin on the day.

Follow Up Skin Consult - (30 mins - $100)

Healthy skin is a journey which is why a customised plan is created. But we do need to regularly check in and assess how your skin is responding and decide when to move you on to the next phase of your plan. This is why follow up consults are a very important and integral part of your skin journey.

Level One – Bespoke Express Facial - (30 mins - $95)

Perfect if you're short on time or your skin is in need of a quick pick me up between facials! 

This facial includes a double cleanse, followed by a fruit-based enzyme exfoliation to help refine the skins surface. We then go through with a relaxing facial massage and end with a corrective lotion/tonic, custom actives, eye gel and moisturiser all specifically chosen for your skins needs on the day. Leaving your skin glowing.

Level Two – Bespoke Treatment Facial - (60 mins - $169) 

The perfect combination of good for your skin products mixed with relaxation! This fully customised facial includes all of your healthy skin must haves: double cleanse, enzyme, face/neck/shoulder massage, clay mask, hand-picked actives, eye gel and finishing with moisturiser and lip treatment. 

Your skin will absolutely love you for this results driven treatment and your soul will leave feeling calm and relaxed.

Level Three – Bespoke Specialised Treatment Facial - (60 mins - $205)

This is our newest facial option!

Very similar to the Level Two facial - good for your skin and good for your soul! Except taking the good for your skin part up a notch!

The difference between the Level 2 and Level 3 facial is the Level 3 facial includes the new SIMKA Hydrating Bio-Cellulose Face Mask and the Level 2 includes the Dermaviduals clay mask. 

The SIMKA mask included in this facial is absolutely amazing for its hydrating, calming and soothing benefits, leaving your skin looking plump, hydrated and glowing!

Level Four – Bespoke Deluxe Facial (90 mins - $240)

The ultimate in relaxation! But don't think it's not amazing for the skin because it definitely is - we are all about prioritising the health of the skin at MKS but that doesn't mean we can't bring in elements of relaxation as well.

So basically all the benefits and steps included in Level Two… But with more time! So longer mask time, longer face/neck/shoulder massage and… a hand and arm massage as well as a scalp massage whilst your clay mask is on. 

Perfect if you're wanting to look after your skin but in need of some relaxation as well.

  • Complete the Consult Form

    Once you have booked in for your Initial Consult you will be sent a link to the Consult Form. This needs to be filled in within 24 hours as it allows us to check for any contraindications to your appointment.
    Make sure you list all skincare products and makeup that you use and don’t forget to include all medical information, medications and supplements you take as well. 
  • Upon arrival to your appointment

    Please arrive on time to your appointment and be makeup free. It is important that we can see your skin.
    [Please note: You don’t need to arrive early and please keep in mind this is a home-based business so there is no waiting room, which is why we ask that you arrive on time to your appointment. We appreciate your understanding.]
  • At your appointment

    We will go through your consult form and chat about your skin, your skin concerns and how we can help you with your skin goals. We will also recommend a skincare and treatment plan that we believe will help you achieve healthy, glowing skin.

What do I book for my first appointment?

If this is your first appointment at Melissa Keating Skin you will need to book in for an Initial Consultation.

There are 3 options that you can choose from:

Initial Consultation – no facial treatment included, just the in-clinic consultation.

Initial Consultation & Level 1 Facial – this includes your initial consultation and a 30-minute bespoke facial.

Initial Consultation & Level 2 Facial – this includes your initial consultation and a 60-minute bespoke facial.

Why do we need to start with a consultation?

At Melissa Keating Skin we believe that as no two skins are the same that also means that what each skin needs when it comes to skincare and treatment plans should be unique as well.

This is why we require all clients to have an Initial Consultation. This allows us to assess your skins needs and create a customised skincare and treatment plan based on your skin.

How to book an appointment?

You’re more than welcome to book online or you can email us at admin@melissakeating.com.au or send an enquiry through our contact form on our contact page and we can book your appointment on our end.

Please note: online bookings are only displayed for 3 months at a time. If you would like to book up your appointments ahead of time, please send us an email at the above email address and we can get that sorted for you on our end.

When can you not have a facial?

If there are any contraindications that prevent us from doing a facial, we will not do a facial on you.

If you have or have had a cold sore outbreak, we cannot do any skin treatments until it has completely healed and there is no sign of the cold sore. Please let us know if you have had a cold sore between appointments as we want to be aware that your body and skin has had quite an immune response.

If you have had any cosmetic injectables (eg: botox, filler etc) we cannot perform any skin treatments for at least 14 days post injectables.

If you have had any cosmetic tattooing on the face (eg: eyebrows or lips, etc) we cannot perform any skin treatments until they are completely healed – please get in contact with us if you have had this done.

There are times some medical conditions or medications may require medical permission or clearance from your GP or specialist. This is why it is extremely important that you note all medical history and medications on your form.

What happens if I am sick?

If you are unwell/sick for any reason, please make sure you contact us as soon as you can to reschedule your appointment. We will not be able to see you if you are unwell.

This is to protect our team and other clients as much as we can from getting sick. We are here to support skin health but a part of that is supporting our overall health as well. So, we make it a top priority to make sure we help everyone to stay as healthy as possible.

Plus, it is never an enjoyable experience having a skin consult or facial while you’re unwell. 

Can I bring my kids or someone with me to my appointment? 

As much as we completely understand it can be difficult to attend appointments when you have a baby or kids, unfortunately we do require you to attend appointments on your own and without children. This is due to the fact we just don’t have enough room in the clinic and it is not a child friendly space. We are also unable to watch your baby or children as we are here to do your skin treatment.

We also ask that you attend your appointments on your own, so without a partner, friend, etc, as we don’t have a waiting room or reception area and our treatment room is not able to accommodate extra people.

Please note: If the appointment is for someone under 18 years, we do require a parent/guardian to accompany them and be in the room for their Initial Consultation.

Can I pick up my product order?

*Product pickups are by appointment only.*
Please email your order to us at admin@melissakeating.com.au and let us know what you would like to order and that you would like to arrange a time for pickup. We will send through our availability and we can arrange a time with you to collect your skincare order.

All online orders are sent via Australia Post.

How do I repurchase my skincare after my first appointment?

You are more than welcome to either purchase online if you prefer (for Bare Roots and SIMKA products) or you can email us your order at admin@melissakeating.com.au 

If you are repurchasing dermaviduals then these products are not sold an online and you can email your order to admin@melissakeating.com.au

If you want to order dermaviduals as well as Bare Roots or SIMKA then we recommend emailing your whole order to us so you only pay one lot of postage.

Why can’t I buy dermaviduals online?

Dermaviduals is a clinic only skincare line and is online/internet protected. This means we cannot sell it online or advertise product pricing.

We also can only sell it to people whom have had a consult or facial with us. If you would like to get started on a dermaviduals skincare routine or purchase any dermaviduals products then please book in for an Initial Consultation and we can get you started.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship products within Australia and do not offer international shipping.

Can I buy products from your website without a consultation or being a client?

Yes you can – you do not need to be a client to purchase Bare Roots or SIMKA products and can purchase straight from our website.

You just need to be in Australia as we do not ship internationally.

However, if you would like any product recommendations then we do need to do a consult to make sure we are recommending the best options to you.

Please note: If you are wanting to purchase dermaviduals skincare then you do need to be a client. Simply book in for an Initial Consultation and we can get you started. And if you are a client already using dermaviduals you unfortunately cannot purchase dermaviduals online, please email your orders to admin@melissakeating.com.au

What is your address?

Melissa Keating Skin is based in Ellenbrook which is nestled in the Swan Valley. As we are a home-based skin clinic the address is supplied in your confirmation text which you will receive the day before your appointment.
